BALANCED SECURITIES PRODUCTS Melbourne Securities Corporation Limited holds a charge over all the assets of the company as trustee for the investors. An indication of the level of security which this provides is given by the amount of the Company's equity capital as at 30 June 2025, which exceeded $111 million.
Balanced Securities provides investors with consistent and above-average returns on secured notes secured by first mortgages over real estate assets for the full term of the secured note, with no downtime between mortgage loans.
The secured note is not a bank deposit, and the company has not been rated by an external rating agency to assess the risk that an investor's principal and interest may not be paid.
Since the commencement of trading as a public company on 24 December 1999, the company has never defaulted on a payment of principal or interest on the secured notes. The directors commend potential investors to read the prospectus and the investment it offers.
Investments may be made in multiples of $1,000, with the minimum amount generally being $10,000. There are no entry fees deducted from funds invested and no exit fees on funds withdrawn at the end of their full term. Terms are for six months to three years. TARGET MARKET DETERMINATION (TMD)
The questionnaire must be completed, signed & returned to BSL.
Prior to BSL accepting a new investment, we are required to determine that you fall within our target market.
Once we are satisfied that you fall within our target market, you will be able to make a new investment, and BSL will issue you a secured note.
In accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financial Act 2006, before accepting a new application form, the company is required to obtain verifiable identity documents for all new investors.
